Psyllium Husk Powder, certified organic
Sat Isabgol for intestinal rehabilitation, completely natural, carefully and organically grown without chemical sprays and residue-controlled. Premium Quality.
The seed husks of Indian psyllium (Plantago psyllium) help maintain intestinal health. Physillium seeds are extremely high in vegetable fiber and they swell a lot, creating a feeling of being full. They taste neutral and have almost no calories. Blond plantain seeds are gluten-free and blend well in smoothies, but also with soups and muesli.
Other names: Sat Isabgol, blond psyllium, desert Indianwheat, ispaghula, ispaghul, isabgul
Psyllium husks are purely vegetable and are obtained from Indian sand plantain (Plantago psyllium), which is grown in northwest India. Plantago psyllium is an annual low herb. The flower branches stand in the upper leaf axes and form an ear. The fibers of this ear are processed into psyllium husks.
Take Sat Isabgol in any liquid for extra fiber that many people lack.
Already 800 years ago Hildegard von Bingen wrote about the good effects of flea seeds and recommended them for intestinal problems (constipation, diarrhea and flatulence).
Powerful, hardly any calories
Fleas are able to bind more than 50 times the amount of water. In the case of diarrhea, they quickly bind the liquid intestinal contents and thereby make the stool malleable and lead to an increase in the passage time of the intestinal contents by binding water.
In the case of constipation, the opposite effect occurs. Then the transit time is shortened by an increase in the volume of the stool, the stool is softened and this makes it easier to empty the bowel. Since psyllium and psyllium husks make the stool soft and pliable, psyllium is often used as an accompanying measure in the treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures.
The high fiber content of approx. 80%, the gentle stimulation of the metabolism and the large amount of mucus make flea seeds a valuable contribution to a healthy diet and regulate digestion. The European Medicines Agency certified the efficacy and safety of psyllium husks as an intestinal regulator in 2006. In addition, it is believed that the spectrum of activity is much wider and that fleas may help lower cholesterol levels. Our ORGANIC psyllium husks have the advantage over whole psyllium seeds that they swell slowly.
Fleas are mild, have a neutral taste, are well tolerated and can be taken permanently as a supplement. They are easy to use, suitable for children from 14 years of age.
Mix the psyllium husks with plenty of water, fruit juice, soup or yoghurt (no milk, so they won't swell!). It is important to drink enough fluids with it.
Psyllium husks fill the stomach well and give a pleasant feeling of satiety without significant calories. A teaspoon has only 0.6 kcal, 1 teaspoon corresponds to approx. 2g. That means 100 g - 50 servings - contain just 28 kcal or 119 kJ, 7 g of carbohydrates, no fat and no protein.
Mix 3 x 1 teaspoon (approx. 2g each) with 1/4 liter of liquid daily and allow to swell well before consumption. Drink at least 1/4 to 1/2 liter of liquid after consumption, half of it for children.
Flea seeds are normally very well tolerated. They are considered mild and soothing. Allergies can only occur in rare cases. In addition, the absorption of medication can be delayed. Indian flea seeds must not be taken if there is a narrowing of the esophagus or the gastrointestinal tract, if there is an impending or existing intestinal obstruction or if diabetes mellitus is difficult to control
