This small herb from South America has it all. Chanca piedra ( Phyllanthus niruri ) from the family of Euphobiaceae is called in German breaker (chanca) of stones (piedra) and is suitable for cleansing and toxin elimination for bile, kidney and bladder.
Chanca piedra grows as a small annual herb in the tropics, especially in the Amazon rainforest and grows up to half a meter high. Since ancient times, indigenous people have used Chanca Piedra for kidney-urinary tract and liver-gallbladder ailments.
This makes Phyllanthus niruri a natural helper in taking care of our kidneys.
The kidney is our most important detoxification organ, regulates our acid-base balance, metabolizes the minerals in the body and is involved in our blood formation. No wonder, therefore, that it well deserves our attention. Especially when it is easy to take care of it with a tea that tastes pleasantly neutral and is a pleasure to drink every day.

Preparation of Chanca Piedra
Take 1-2 tablespoons of chopped Chanca Piedra herb per l of water, pour the tea boiling and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Strain and drink the first cup hot in the morning, the rest cold during the day.
The finished tea can be stored in the refrigerator for several days, preferably in the Flaschka. Do not boil or store in aluminum pots or pots containing tin. Sweeten with erythritol or even better probiotic with yacon syrup.
