The willow rose and its potent history
People in the past loved the willowherb as a mythical magic. Their leaves were smoked to experience their healing powers. Men used it as a strengthening aphrodisiac, for the well-being of the prostate and bladder. It was planted to ward off lightning. Maria Treben sang praises of the herb of willowherb in her books. Today we use it as a flowery, light yellow tea infusion with a slightly bitter aroma.
What makes willowherb so effective?
The strong effect of willowherb is due to its high content of flavones and tannins, which make up the effect of willowherb on the prostate gland, where it normalizes and helps.
