The rock rose (Cistus incanus ssp. Tauritus, and Pandalis) is the most polyphenolic plant in Europe. It contains 3x as much as green tea and 4x as much as vitamin C. Polyphenols have an antioxidant effect, i.e. they act against free radicals.
The ingredients of the rock rose are astringent.
Preparation for aromatic-bitter cistus tea
Pour boiling water over 1 tablespoon of organic rock rose herb per quarter liter. Let it steep for 3-6 minutes. Take 3 cups a day
The finished tea can be stored in the refrigerator for several days, preferably in the Flaschka.
Do not cook or store in aluminum pots or pots containing tin.
Sweeten with erythritol or, even better, probiotic with Yacon syrup.
