Butterfly Pea — Anchan

The intense color of the butterfly pea flower comes from natural anthocyanins — the same plant pigments that also give blueberries their color. In Southeast Asian cuisine, the flowers are traditionally used as a natural coloring ingredient for tea, lemonades, cocktails, rice dishes, desserts and ice cream.
