Comparison to coffee
A cup of coffee contains about 100mg of caffeine and gives you an energy kick for 1-3 hours. The matcha tea with only 35 mg of caffeine lasts 4-6 hours, increases concentration and does not cause tremors or nervousness.
Our matcha tea powder contains about 2% caffeine, but it has a different effect in matcha than in coffee. Caffeine from matcha tea is bound to polyphenols, therefore the caffeine is only released in the intestine. Therefore, the pick-me-up effect occurs later than with coffee and lasts longer.Matcha can help to increase concentration and makes a clear head. The typical coffee nervousness is eliminated.
Matcha intake:
Put ½ teaspoon (1g) of 1A Matcha powder in a bowl, pour over 80ml of water (approx. 80°C) and whisk with matcha whisk for 15 seconds.
Once opened, keep sealed in the refrigerator.
